Understanding the soil strata across your project’s site is an absolute necessity for the robust design of earthworks, drainage, remediation, utilities, highways and structural foundations
Geotechnical
We can process borehole data in the form of hardcopy or digital log files. We use the resulting data to produce borehole “tubes” within our 3D civil software. Using these “tubes” our software can generate 3D, dynamic surface strata representing soils strata across your project’s site.
We develop 2D plans directly from the 3D geotechnical models.
Additionally surface stratas for each soil type can also be generated. These strata can be exported as 3D model data for use in such applications as Navisworks, Revit and many other 3D applications. Thereby supporting BIM collaboration and design across all project disciplines
Geotechnical borehole data can be presented in isolation as well as supplementing sections for drainage, utilities, etc. This allows for much greater flexibility for our clients
Earthworks & Remediation
We can provide earthworks cut/fill volume calculations at the early development stage to allow you to understand the potential storage requirements for your project. We are developing the use of the latest Generative Design tools for Grading Optimisation in order to optimise the earthworks levels even at feasibility stages
